Bees take down a giant Japanese hornet scout with body heat alone

The Japanese giant hornet is an awesome death machine able to kill forty bees a minute. In this video the Japanese bees that are being scouted for an attack by a hornet take it down before it has a chance to call in its mates.
The hornet’s job is to mark the hive with a pheromone so other hornets can find it later. The bees know this and attack the scout hornet before it has a chance to mark the hive for extinction.
