Sloths are the world’s slowest moving mammal. In fact, sloths are so slow that their bodies provide an environment for other things to live on. A sloth’s fur and body is home to things like algae, moths, beetles, and fungi.

While this may seem like trouble for the sloth, it actually works to the sloth’s advantage. The algae that grows and lives on the sloth’s fur gives it a slight green color which helps the sloth to blend into the trees of the rainforest.
