Sharks do not have bones.

Sharks are powerful animals but they actually don’t have any bones. Their skeletons are made up of cartilage, a softer material which also gives shape to your nose and ears. Cartilage is more flexible than bone, which allows sharks to swim faster than most fish. True, it isn’t enough to support the shark’s weight on land but you’ve never seen a shark live on land, have you?
