For a long time, people thought that gray wolves could be driven off with the sound of stringed instruments and recently, this has been proven. In captivity, when stringed instruments such as violins are played, gray wolves show signs of distress, whining and trying to escape from the sound. Their sense of hearing is so acute, after all, enabling them to hear even the sound of falling leaves in autumn.
